Our Mission

To create a fast, social, and deeply strategic game that challenges conventional thinking, sparks creativity, and connects people, celebrating curiosity, unconventional minds, and the joy of shared play.

Why We created Hexeh?

We created Hexeh to capture the depth of strategy games while keeping it quick and fun. It’s not just about competing—it’s about connecting with friends, having a blast, and sparking new ideas. Fast-paced yet deep, Hexeh brings strategy and social play together, making every match a shared experience

Who we are

We’re Richie and Mitchell, longtime friends and rivals, and we created Hexeh. As fans of strategy games, we wanted to build something that’s fresh, quicker, and social. For over seven years, our friendship has been shaped by competitionfrom late-night chess games to wild side projects. That mix of ideas, feedback, and passion is what makes Hexeh special.

Richie

Richie is the visionary behind Hexeh. The idea for the game started with a piece of abstract art his wife made for their son's nursery. Something about the hexagons on canvas made him think, “the next big strategy game is right here on this pattern.” That thought turned into an obsession. He spent two years designing Hexeh from scratch, fueled by tea and late-night prototypes. Every rule, mechanic, and piece was tested, tweaked, and refined. Richie’s passion lies in building competitive systems that invite people in, not shut them out. Hexeh is his answer to a lifelong love of games and a desire to reshape how strategy can feel: beautiful, approachable, and deeply satisfying.

Mitchell

Mitchell has always been drawn to games, strategy, and the moments that make people think differently. As Hexeh’s CMO and systems builder, he gets to combine his love for creative problem-solving with his passion for building community. For Mitchell, Hexeh isn’t just a game—it’s a chance to connect people, spark curiosity, and challenge minds in a way that’s fast, fun, and social. He’s dedicated to creating a space where strategy meets play, and where every player feels like they’re part of something bigger than a board.
